Course Overview
Women have, of course, played a crucial role in the history of our fine city. However, their role in this story has often been neglected or under-appreciated. This day course aims to introduce you to the life stories of some of the many women who have contributed to the history of Norwich.
After a moring session at The King’s Centre, in the afternoon we shall visit places associated with women such as Edith Cavell, Amelia Opie, Elizabeth Fry, Sarah Glover and Mary Chapman.
